DACCO has 40 full-line parts distribution centers located throughout the United States. Each location offers a full service counter for walk-in customers and several delivery options which include multiple daily delivery runs and nightly parts drop boxes.

DACCO's knowledgeable location management staff include past transmission shop owners and rebuilders, which aids in finding the correct part for the customer. The expertise they bring to DACCO is unsurpassed in the aftermarket transmission industry. For non-stock items, overnight and next business day delivery is available at a nominal fee. Standard business hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday with some locations open on Saturday.

Sales Routes

DACCO's customer service and delivery standard has always been the rolling inventory. Utilizing a tractor trailer setup as a torque converter warehouse, DACCO's sales force brings inventory and industry specific knowledge directly to the customer's door step. DACCO has offered this standard of quality for over 40 years.

DACCO is the only torque converter remanufacturer that utilizes the rolling inventory concept, and as a result DACCO salesmen are able to visit most of the continental United States on a weekly basis.

Our sales force is knowledgable in the transmission industry with many of the members having 20 or more years of experience as DACCO route salesmen. In an effort to meet customer demand, DACCO routes now offer a select number of the most popular soft parts for delivery directly from the truck. If the needed part is not available from the truck, one day drop ship service is available on most parts.

Distribution Centers

Converter Warehouse

DACCO’s 50,000 square foot torque converter distribution warehouse is the scene of constant motion. As units arrive in the distribution warehouse via conveyor systems from production lines in adjacent buildings, they are bar code scanned into inventory, placed in proper bin locations, and staged for distribution to DACCO’s network of customers and company owned store locations.

Soft Parts Warehouse

Dacco’s Soft Part distribution center is located in Cookeville, Tennessee. Our facilities contain over 14,000 stocking part numbers with 750,000 individual pieces throughout our network, available for demand driven distribution to our customers, sales routes and 40 nationally located wholesale stores.

Production Facilities

Converter Production

Over the last few years DACCO has sought to improve remanufacturing efficiency and reduce component cost. To meet this objective, DACCO has embraced the Lean Manufacturing model. Based on the Toyota Production System, centered around a philosophy of “preserving value with less waste”, lean manufacturing designed work stations are being configured within DACCO’s torque converter remanufacturing plant located in Cookeville, TN.

The Lean remanufacturing concept has been instrumental in helping to reduce and maintain lower production cost which are passed on to DACCO’s customers in the form of reduced pricing. Below are various Lean remanufacting based work stations within the Cookeville remanufacturing facility

Hard Parts Production

DACCO has developed an employee driven Continuous Improvement program that searches for ways to improve DACCO’s production environment while at the same time reducing cost. The redesign and configuration of DACCO’s Bowser Road Hard Parts remanufacturing department has been the first major project.

The Continuous Improvement project reconfigured the work flow sequence and warehousing configuration for the department and in doing so created a more efficient and safer work environment.

The DACCO team constantly strives for efficiency.

Support Personnel

DACCO’s corporate offices, located in Cookeville, houses the management team, who oversee manufacturing, operations, sales and marketing, customer service, and the accounting functions of the company.

DACCO’s Call Center, located in Florence, Alabama provides customer and sales support for DACCO’s nationally located transmission parts distribution centers as well as providing unsurpassed one-on-one customer service and support.

DACCO’s Sales Center supports over 200 distributors and is the location of our inside sales team which also handles all export and in-house customers.

DACCO’s Technical Service team offers our customers unparalleled technical support. They assist in determining the correct product for your application including custom build or specialty applications.
